These Seminars run approximately every three years. Last run in 2016-7
The training seminars aims to improve understanding of the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola and to develop confidence in giving the full Exercises.
It will benefit those engaging in spiritual conversation or offering spiritual accompaniment and provide a foundation and those giving, or hoping to give, the Full Spiritual Exercises.
The seminars will include input on the text and dynamic of the Exercises and reading will be recommended.
Tutors will take part in group sharing and discussion.
Those participating will be asked to contribute from their own experience and study. This will mean preparing and presenting some of the sessions.
Applicants should have made the full Spiritual Exercises as an individually guided retreat, either over 30 full days or in the course of daily life. Some evidence of formal training in accompanying others is also expected.
