Days of Prayer and Reflection

Ecological conversion and the climate transition : Finding my personal response through spiritual conversation and prayer

14 September 2024 10:30-16:30 (UK Time)

Explore restoration in the context of the climate crisis, with personal prayer and spiritual conversations on God’s creation and the incarnation, passion, death and resurrection of Jesus. Inspired by the dynamic of the Spiritual Exercises, the day will allow space for discernment and the movement of the Spirit.

Including presentations on earth systems and large-scale restoration projects, we will explore the social and spiritual values needed for the climate transition and our personal ecological response.

This day of prayer will be held in the ISC in Glasgow and online for those who cannot come in person. Our day will be led by Dr Ania Grobicki & Br Geoff te Braake SJ. Please bring a packed lunch if coming in person.

The suggested donation for the day is £30, however please do not let finance be an issue for you as we have a bursary fund to help those who cannot afford to donate the suggested amount.

If you are able to pay a bit more to help those who cannot pay then we would also appreciate that.
