Supervision Training Course 2025

Those offering spiritual direction or accompaniment need to reflect on their practice and also be accountable to others about their work. Supervision provides for this, as well as an excellent way to develop one’s skills and to learn.

This introductory training course in supervision is for experienced spiritual directors and trains them in the supervision of other directors, guides and retreat givers.  This course is aimed particularly at those who have experience of spiritual accompaniment or retreat giving in the Ignatian tradition.

Course content includes:

  • What is supervision and models of supervision;
  • supervision in the context of spiritual accompaniment;
  • ethics and boundaries;
  • a discerning approach to supervision.
